Medical Relief at Bidi Bidi Refugee Camp
Home to over 270,000 refugees, Bidi Bidi Refugee Camp in Yumbe District has an urgent need for accessible healthcare services, especially with the continuous influx of refugees fleeing conflict in South Sudan. To address this, Swiha Charity Foundation, with support from individual donors, organized a three-day medical camp, providing post-trauma counseling, HIV/AIDS testing, blood donation, Hepatitis B testing and vaccination, blood pressure checks, general consultations, UTI testing and treatment, as well as cervical, prostate, and breast cancer screenings. All 314 beneficiaries received these life-saving services free of charge, ensuring that those in need could access essential healthcare without barriers.
