Madrasa Istimrar Renovation Mombasa

Assalamu Alaikum,

Our local Madrassa Tul Istimrar needs urgent repairs. The building has damaged walls, a leaking roof, and broken restrooms, making it unsafe for students and difficult for teachers to work. During rain, water comes through the roof and walls, putting everyone at risk.

We have a two-step plan to fix and support the madrassa:

Phase 1

Community Support and Revenue Generation

We are raising funds to purchase large tents and cooking pots that will be leased out for community events. This will create a source of revenue to sustain the madrassa, contributing directly to the renovation fund and allowing the project to move forward.

Phase 2

Building a New Madrassa and Rental Apartments

Once we have enough funds, we will:

1. Replace the old building with a new, safe madrassa
2. Build apartments to rent out
3. Use the rental income to maintain the building and pay Madrasa teachers

This project is a chance for us all to invest in Sadaqah Jariyah, a charity that continues to benefit even after we have gone. Let us come together to create a space where knowledge is not only shared but sustained for future generations, Insha’Allah.
